Calculator privacy

Calculator inputs and results are processed on your device and are not intentionally sent to analytics or error-monitoring providers. On the web, query strings are removed and referrer values are omitted from analytics and error events.

Product analytics

Mittafin collects limited usage and technical information to understand which parts of the product are useful, find broken flows, and improve the product. This may include features or screens used, interaction patterns, and general browser, device, app-version, or operating-system information.

Analytics is anonymous or pseudonymous rather than account-specific. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, calculator inputs, calculator results, URL query strings, referrer URLs, or free-text content. The web app may automatically collect page views and page-leave events after you allow analytics.

Error monitoring

Mittafin collects limited diagnostics to detect application errors and performance problems. Diagnostics may include technical context such as the affected page or screen, browser or device details, app version, operating system, timestamps, and error context. We do not intentionally include default personally identifying information.

Cookies and browser storage

The web app uses localStorage and sessionStorage for display preferences, analytics consent, limited analytics state, and whether a visit is new or returning. Browser storage and cookies may also support anonymous or pseudonymous analytics identifiers after analytics is allowed. This storage does not keep calculator inputs or results.

Analytics storage is optional. We ask before using it, and a refusal does not affect calculator access.

Browser privacy preferences

Some browsers can send a privacy preference that asks sites not to track the visit. When Mittafin receives this preference, analytics does not load for that visit.

Mobile analytics and diagnostics

Mittafin mobile apps may send limited product usage and diagnostic information so we can understand which calculators are useful and keep the apps reliable.

Calculator inputs, results, formulas, export contents, names, email addresses, and free-text content are not used for mobile analytics or diagnostics.

Legal basis and recipients

Mittafin uses your consent for optional web analytics. We use our legitimate interests in keeping the product secure and reliable for limited error monitoring. Service providers that operate analytics and diagnostic infrastructure process this information only to provide those services to Mittafin.

These providers may process information outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

Retention and choices

We keep analytics and error-monitoring data only for the retention periods configured for those services and no longer than needed to operate Mittafin, understand product health, and protect the service.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use calculator inputs or results for profiling, advertising, or training models.

Your choices and rights

You can decline analytics when prompted or change your choice from the Analytics preferences control. You may also ask to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to processing of personal information, or ask for a portable copy where the law provides that right.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
